Using router 2800 as CME router for call center.

Router 2811 is the ISR G1 router that can support IOS 15.0 but now there is challenge if we want to equip that with VIC card such as FXO. Cisco integrates CME into IOS software itself, so the version of CME depends on IOS version. Now you may want to work with CME 8.X or above (recommended for CCNA Voice training) you will need IOS 15.X on the router 2811. What will be happened when using IOS 15.X to the FXO? Assume you equipped the router with DSP chip (PVDM), but FXO not working properly (during booting router an Error message according to the FXO appears about signaling miscellaneous)on IOS 15.X , that is limitation to the Router 2800 series. It means router 2800 series just support IOS 12.4 for FXO/PVDM modules, so what you need to do for using CME 8.X or above just replace the Router with the ISR G2(router 2900). I recommend using Router 2911 with Switch 3560v2 that support IOS 15.X and CME 9.
